WebNov 28, 2009 · The ONLY way to know for sure how many dl you need is to count them, or read on the bar and I have found that to off to. The sprocket you running can chain it to, 7 or 8 pin. The 20 inch bar that came on one of my saws said 72 dl 3/8 right on it, but 72 dl was to long you had no adjustment, the bar was built for a diff saw originally.
